High School students are encouraged to engage in rigorous academic courses, identify the gifts and talents that God has given them. Students discover how these fit into their future while preparing for the college of their choice, gap year, military or career. Completing high school and applying to college is a critical point of personal transition. The guidance team endeavors to walk students through the process beginning in ninth grade and culminating with graduation.
Students become informed stakeholders and responsible decision makers through the academic course selection and college admission process. At the same time, understanding the journey from ninth grade to graduation is a family experience. Partnering with parents to help students plan for what’s next after CCS, and what’s next in God’s plan for their lives is one of the main goals of the Guidance Office.
